Exploitation without equity
Mainstream platforms monetize BIPOC and AAPI culture without giving back — amplifying stereotypes while shadowbanning the very creators who set the trends.
Waitlist open · Beta Q3 2027 · Toronto
Powering Creator Commerce, Community, and Capital — built for and owned by BIPOC + AAPI creators and small businesses.
The problem
Mainstream platforms monetize BIPOC and AAPI culture without giving back — amplifying stereotypes while shadowbanning the very creators who set the trends.
No dedicated, algorithm-transparent space exists where diverse stories drive the culture. Communities create the value; platforms keep the power.
GroCORN flips the model — community-first moderation, fair creator pay, and cultural preservation built into the core, not bolted on later.
Unlike mainstream, generalist social platforms, GroCORN combines social commerce with community-first governance.
The opportunity
GroCORN sits at the intersection of creator platforms, marketplaces, and ad-tech — an underserved cultural economy that mainstream platforms keep leaving on the table.
Who we build with
GroCORN is an emerging social commerce marketplace, not a static brand site. Revenue builds in phases — a community-funded MVP first, then marketplace transaction revenue and brand partnerships as the network matures.
The platform is designed to lower the barrier for BIPOC and AAPI creators and small businesses to reach paying customers — measurable outcomes, not aspirational ones.
Not venture capital yet — community capital first. The MVP is donation funded.
The product
Creator content feed, marketplace and services, gift cards, the Kofi Table Talk media network, and analytics — every module feeds the same community flywheel.

Media & podcast network
GroCORN's owned media arm — interviews with BIPOC and AAPI entrepreneurs, creators, and community builders. It is also where the founder met half the founding team: guests become collaborators.

Every day, everywhere
And then it's gone
The Culture Vault
The signature feature
The Culture Vault archives every video, hashtag challenge, and live stream as community-owned heritage — searchable, permanent, and never deleted when an algorithm moves on.
Equitable revenue sharing built into the core.
Members shape the rules — not advertisers, not algorithms.
Creators earn equity, not just likes.
Impact as growth advantage
Two halves of one flywheel — every social outcome on the left powers a revenue engine on the right, and the spin never stops.
Higher earnings for cultural creators through fair, built-in revenue sharing.
Targeted cultural engagement cuts SMB customer acquisition cost.
Maximum visibility for underserved creators unlocks new capital paths.
Measurable social outcomes unlock grants and institutional capital.
Economic empowerment drives retention mainstream apps can't match.
Brands pay a premium for community-led campaigns with real trust.
The people
Our mission
Give BIPOC and AAPI creators, vendors, and small businesses a platform they can trust and grow with.
